Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a mental health diagnosis to start therapy?

Not at all. You don’t need a label or a formal diagnosis to begin. If something in your life feels heavy, overwhelming, or difficult to navigate, that’s reason enough to reach out. You are welcome here, just as you are.

How do online sessions work?

Sessions are held through a secure, encrypted video platform called Jane App. Jane is an online platform for health and wellness practitioners. You’ll receive a private link for each appointment. Our session will be a quiet, comfortable space where you can talk freely and feel supported.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes. Many clients find online therapy to be just as impactful, and even more accessible. It offers flexibility, privacy, and the ability to attend sessions from wherever you feel most at ease.

What can I expect during a free consultation?

The 20-minute consultation is a chance to ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for whether this space feels right for you. There’s no pressure to commit, it’s simply a conversation to help you decide your next step.

How often should I book sessions?

That depends on your needs and goals. Some clients meet weekly, others biweekly. We’ll discuss what feels most supportive during your consultation, and adjust as needed throughout your journey.

Do you offer session packages?

Yes — counseling packages are available at a reduced rate for clients seeking consistent, ongoing support. We’ll talk more about your options during your consultation.
